What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material and Production Associate position at Ajax Tocco Magnethermic?
Primary Functions:
Responsible for processing production releases from Engineering in a timely manner that allows the company to meet scheduled deadlines and delivery commitments.
- Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
- Enter and download Production Release and Production Change requirements
- Analyze Bills-of-Material and Drawings for shop manufacture and deliver to routing group for routing/scheduling and delivery to shop floor.
- ·Make the required changes/updates when necessary.
- Expedite releases for jobs and materials for rush requirements.
- Enter requisitions for required parts and materials.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet scheduled deadlines.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
o Develop a working relationship with Engineers to address and resolve known print and bill of material issues.
o Ability to work with shop personnel to resolve material or routing issues.
o Must observe all safety regulations
o Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems a plus
o 1-3 yrs Experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
o Ability to understand blueprints a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,345.29 - $55,813.68 per year
