Responsibilities
- Manage the clinic's administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating patient communication.
- Oversee the clinic's financial management, including budgeting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and regulations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with utilization management, identifying areas of inefficiency and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- Manage the clinic's human resources, including recruitment, employee orientation, and employee relations.
- Maintain the clinic's office supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and functioning properly.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, including data entry, filing, and mailings.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a medical office or dental clinic setting, preferably in an administrative role.
- Experience with medical office management software such as Eaglesoft and Epic.
- Strong background in financial management, including budgeting and accounts payable.
- Experience in human resources, including recruitment and employee relations.
- Knowledge of JCAHO standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
