Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the nation’s premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers across the United States. Akerman is seeking an IT Technician to be based in its Orlando, FL office. This is an onsite position.

- Onsite and remote assistance (VPN, Citrix)
- Hardware setups and support (PC, Smartphone/Tablet, printers, phones)
- Software support (Microsoft, document management)
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalate issues as needed
- Coordinate with vendors for IT purposes
- Maintain inventory for distribution to all offices firmwide
- Maintain and service requests in our equipment request portal
- Oversee Dell hardware repairs and returns
- Assist with collection of equipment due back on leases (laptops)
- Assists with technical deployments and firm-wide functions
- Minimum of two (2) years of work with PCs, desktop software such as Microsoft Office, as well as experience with AV and networks.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks in a productive team environment.
- Experience in a large law firm setting with Microsoft OS and PC hardware certifications are desired.
- iManage (Document Management System) and Citrix experience is a plus.
