Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking a full-time Office Services Clerk for its Dallas office. Duties of this position include mail sorting and delivery, set up and clean-up of meeting rooms, stocking and cleanup of kitchen areas, document production assistance, assisting with basic local IT needs, maintenance of supply inventory, assisting with inner office moves, downtown messenger deliveries and special projects as assigned. The successful candidate should have some technical knowledge, be highly motivated, reliable, with a strong ability to multi-task, well organized in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills and accommodating to various requests. Candidate should be comfortable working within sensitive deadlines. The schedule will be 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and available to work overtime as needed. We require a high school diploma and a minimum of one (1) year related experience, preferably within a law firm environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required. The ability to develop rapport with personnel and maintain strong working relationships is important, as well as a pro-active attitude. Must exhibit attention to detail and produce accurate and high-quality work product. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.
