Akkodis is seeking a Citrix Administrator for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). This role requires deep expertise in vDisk creation and image builds while collaborating with application teams and handling application troubleshooting.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Citrix Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Citrix Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Manage and administer Citrix Cloud, Citrix DaaS Console, PVS (Provisioning Services), and MCS (Machine Creation Services).
- Create and maintain vDisks, perform image builds, and manage server creation within Azure Cloud.
- Collaborate closely with application teams for application installation processes, guidelines, and validation.
- Handle firewall requests and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure secure access for Citrix environments.
- Troubleshoot application and Citrix-related issues by participating in support and escalation calls.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and monitoring to ensure stability, performance, and availability of Citrix services.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Citrix Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Citrix Cloud, Citrix DaaS Console, PVS (Provisioning Services), MCS (Machine Creation Services), and vDisk/image creation.
- Experience with Azure Cloud for server creation, application installation coordination, firewall request handling, and troubleshooting Citrix/application issues.
