Akkodis is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist for a Contract job with a client in North Plymouth, MN. The ideal candidate will have experience with cleanroom monitoring, environmental investigations, and routine laboratory data review in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Rate Range: $30.00/hour to $34.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Environmental Monitoring Specialist Job Responsibilities Include
Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour

Requirements

Environmental Monitoring Specialist Job Responsibilities Include
- Interpret cleanroom monitoring test results including non‑viable particles, viable active air, viable surface samples, pressure differential readings, and HEPA velocity measurements.
- Document and investigate excursions from cleanroom monitoring where results do not meet specification.
- Document and investigate environmental disturbances in the cleanroom (e.g., pressure differential out‑of‑specification events).
- Document and investigate product bioburden and endotoxin excursions.
- Support Supplier Change Notifications (SCNs) by evaluating the impact of changes on product bioburden, endotoxin levels, and sterilization.
- Support changes to the manufacturing environment by writing Environmental Disturbance Reports (EDRs) for planned activities (adding equipment, tables, personnel, etc.).
- Conduct review of routine test results in LIMS (product bioburden, product endotoxin, environmental monitoring, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field plus 1 years of related work experience with a full understanding of specified functional areas, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
