Product Owner (Agriculture Industry Solutions)

Akkodis is seeking a Product Owner (Agriculture Industry Solutions) for a Contract with a client in Westminster, CO. This role requires strong expertise in leading grooming/planning sessions while managing the product backlog and guiding development teams through prioritized delivery.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Owner (Agriculture Industry Solutions) Job Responsibilities Include

• Translate high‑level product strategy into clear, actionable user stories and maintain a well‑prioritized, groomed product backlog.
• Lead grooming, planning, and review sessions to align engineering, operations, and stakeholder teams on scope, priorities, and delivery expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, clarifying requirements, removing blockers, and ensuring work aligns with acceptance criteria.
• Review completed work against defined criteria and make the final determination on readiness for release.
• Communicate release status, manage shifting priorities, and collaborate with Product Managers to shape mid‑to‑long‑term roadmaps.
• Identify continuous process improvements to enhance team velocity, feature quality, and overall product delivery efficiency.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a similar technical product‑focused role.
• Strong ability to translate high‑level concepts into detailed, actionable user stories and manage backlog prioritization using frameworks like RICE.
• Proven experience leading grooming/planning sessions, collaborating across multi‑company or cross‑functional teams, and maintaining product tools such as Jira or Aha!.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $68.00 per hour
