What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Junior Construction Project Manager position at Akkodis?
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to meet client expectations.
- Conduct monthly job cost reviews and report progress to management.
- Draft and issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate construction activities.
- Maintain organized project records, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
Quality and Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure project compliance with all contractual requirements, building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Interpret and enforce construction specifications and architectural/engineering drawings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing construction projects.
- Experience working in occupied or exterior construction environments is required.
