Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Operate heavy construction equipment including Skid Steers, Backhoes, Loaders, and Excavators with precision and care.
- Perform field-level maintenance tasks such as preventative checks, greasing and inspection for damage.
- Prep sub-grades for proper elevations
- Use a laser for shooting proper elevations.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards at all times.
- Must be physically able to load and unload equipment onto trucks and trailers safely.
- Assist with labor tasks on-site when required.
Qualifications:
- Valid state driver's license with Class A CDL a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, safety practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, tools, and methods related to the concrete industry.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude for maintaining equipment performance.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic outdoor environments.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions (sun, rain, wind, heat, cold).
