The purpose of this position is to operate and/or Set Up ACME machinery in order to support production.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Manufacturing
Materials & Equipment Used:
Measuring instruments, caliper, pull gages, protractor, computer and office equipment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The ability to sit, stand and walk repeatedly throughout the shift.
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
5:00 PM - 3:30 AM, Monday through Friday

Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to operate and/or Set Up ACME machinery in order to support production.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Set-up-Operator position requires the ability to troubleshoot machining operations to ensure quality and optimum machine performance.
- Operator position requires ability to operate ACME screw machine
- Work from layouts, drawings, routings, charts and instructions.
- Obtain first piece inspection and check work frequently using micrometers and various gauges to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Change tooling, perform related duties and move materials as required.
- Report faulty, defective material and unusual conditions to lead person or supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to identify problems
- Produce products free from defects
- Effective Communication and ability to work with all departments.
- Compliance with Company Policies (i.e. Safety, Attendance, etc.)
- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
- 1-3 years machining experience
- Good math skills, and the ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others.
