Here's what you'd do:
- Our IT Technician will perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and software.
- Provide front-line, customer-facing IT Deskside Support in a fast-paced setting.
- Troubleshoot Windows11 operating system issues and perform hardware repairs on HP laptops (hard drive, RAM).
- Utilize ServiceCentral for ticket creation, tracking, and detailed resolution.
- Manage loaner laptop pool, ensuring timely returns and accurate inventory.
- Comfortable working with both Windows and macOS platforms and mobile device provisioning.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $26.00 / hr.
Hours: 4x10, Monday-Thursday
Length: Contract (12m with opportunity of extension)

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware repair.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation of systems such as Windows/ MAC, iPhone support.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in providing technical support in an in-person setting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Windows Software troubleshooting, imaging computers, and customer support.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Experience in maintaining accurate records in ServiceCentral.
- Good communication skills and able to collaborate effectively.
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Good service orientation.
- Heavy customer service skills, including being able to de-escalate a stressed client and be able to fix issues quickly.
- Able to collaborate with other desk-side support technicians.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Clean driving record as MVR will be run.
- Possible lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.
- A successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
