Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and conduct training for the field force and Home Office. Training consists of online course development and training, classroom instruction, webinar training, workshops, one-on-one training, etc.
- Properly prepare all course development and training materials in advance with attention to detail (proofing, editing, testing, etc.).
- Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, attitude, attire, attendance, tolerance, cooperation, and conduct.
- Work cohesively with a team towards common goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; in lieu of a college degree, 2 years’ experience as an Alfa Agent would be acceptable.
- Licensed in Life & Health Insurance and Property/Casualty Insurance (within 6 months of hire date).
- Educational or training experience preferred.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise preferred.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and speak effectively in front of a group.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds (training materials and equipment).
- The incumbent may qualify for the Trainer II position if they possess the following qualifications, in addition to those listed above: a college degree; in lieu of a college degree a minimum of five years as an Alfa Agent, certification as an Instructional Designer/Developer, and at least four years of experience in instructional design and training.
