What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Branch Manager position at All In Credit Union?
ROLE:
Provide information to members concerning products, membership, and services of the Credit Union; trains branch personnel; coordinates daily work flow; provides leadership to employees, in the absence of the branch manager; leads sales initiatives; and provides general direction regarding all branch activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules and monitors daily activities of branch employees.
- Hire, trains, directs and evaluates employee performance within the department; recommends promotions, transfers and salary adjustments; identifies performance problems and acts to correct, including termination.
- Underwrites consumer loans up to the amount assigned per Credit Union policy; reviews and approves underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
- Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Takes action to resolve any out of compliance issues.
- Orders daily cash requirements for the Credit Union. Manages vault cash and negotiable instrument supplies to include, share checks and gift cards.
- Perform branch monthly, quarterly and unscheduled audits as well as preparing reports
- Receives, processes, and authenticates member financial transactions, including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card cash advances, account transfers, bond cashing, wires and western unions; sells gift cards and Credit Union share checks.
- Accurately posts, images, and records listed transactions while properly routing and maintaining required member records.
- Welcomes members and provides complex information, support, dispute resolution and service pertinent to select Credit Union products or services.
- Cross sells Credit Union products and services.
- Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to typing, filing, computer input, equipment maintenance and answering the telephone.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience: Three years of similar or related experience.
