Seeking Structural Drafter.
Must have a firm foundation in drawing creation of detailed shop drawings, computer-aided design (CAD), and general computer skills. Previous experience in structural design as a Drafter or similar role will be required to be considered for the position
Drafter responsibilities include:
Create correct detailed drawings in CAD for metal fabrication shop drawings
Find out customer requirements by speaking to them
Make revisions on a drawing based on customer requirements
Calculate material and equipment requirements and set up production methods
Specify material used and create cut lists
Estimate material and production costs for designs
Create drawings out of rough sketches
Coordinate with other members to ensure the drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations
Qualifications for Drafter:
2 years drafter experience
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor
Ability to problem solve
Ability to stay organized
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Solid math and analytical skills
Very detail oriented
Knowledge of necessary regulations
Ability to work on your own
Time management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframe
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions
Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and requirements in materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
