Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, this exempt position is responsible for working with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement effective learning experiences utilizing innovative solutions that support our educational needs. The Instructional Designer will develop curriculum applying knowledge of adult learning principles and implement techniques for coordinating and delivering a comprehensive range of training programs and modalities. This position is also responsible for supporting the Learning and Development function by assisting with various training reports and maintaining SharePoint and LMS-based learning resources. The position will report to the Manager of Learning Programs.

Skills and Knowledge
- Experience designing and facilitating interactive multimedia experiences
- Knowledge and application of adult learning principles and techniques
- Experience with course authoring tools a plus (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Articulate, Absorb’s Create, Camtasia, PowerPoint, Publisher, Canva, etc.)
- Graphic design knowledge preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; specific undergrad or post-grad training in Instructional Design strongly preferred
- Experience in training or educational environment preferred but not required
- Some travel to offsite business units and job sites required
Salary : $60,000
