What will you do?
- Works collaboratively with Retail leadership to recommend and develop content
- Uses a variety of techniques for determining the instructional content of courses, curricula and programs incorporating sound principles of adult learning theory, ensuring that program design accommodates different learning styles.
- Creates thorough design documents for classroom, self-paced and blended learning including measurable learning objectives, instructional activities, and other learning tools and resources.
- Uses a variety of learning technologies to achieve desired learning outcomes.
- Develops instructional materials/assets including participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, skills assessments, and job aids.
- Performs research and takes the initiative to furnish valuable content to the Retail Training team in support of stakeholders' pursuit of business objectives.
- Partners with the Communications Specialists to design presentations for department meetings, executive review and ad hoc leadership requests
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
What we are looking for:
- Experience in Instructional Design
- Experience in an Automotive Dealership a plus
- Experience creating trainings for both remote and in person learning
- Ability to interact and work with employees at all levels in the organization including business units and executive management
- Customer Service or Customer Service Experience
- Familiarity with dealership operations a plus
- Experience with instructional design software
- Bachelor’s degree
