Senior Plant Analyst

Summary

The qualified team member will be responsible for providing detailed financial and operational analysis to support the decision making process within a poultry processing plant. This role involves analyzing production data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

• Collect and analyze production data, including costs, yields, and efficiency metrics specific to poultry processing to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Prepare and present financial reports, staffing budgets, variance analyses, and performance summaries
• Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement strategies that optimize poultry processing and reduce costs
• Track key performance indicators related to poultry processing and provide insights to improve poultry operations
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains in poultry processing
• Lead or participate in special projects aimed at improving plant performance and profitability
• Will work closely with plant management to develop strategies and implement solutions tat drive operational excellence in poultry processing.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s Degree Preferred or previous experience in poultry plant analysis
• Extensive experience in poultry production and operations management
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems

• Microsoft Office skills with an expert focus on Excel.

• Proficiency in financial software/tools
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced organization skills.
• Understanding of poultry processing operations, cost accounting principles
