What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant position at Allen Industries Inc?
The position of Production Assistant works under the supervision of the Plant Manager and as part of the production team to provide administrative support to the Production/Facility to ensure quality of the product built and delivery is completed according to customer agreed requirements.
DUTIES
- General administrative and clerical tasks requested by team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Answer queries and communications through phone or email
- Handle paperwork related to production
- Review work orders to ensure the production orders are complete
- Assist with inventory management by tracking materials used in production and ordering new supplies as needed
- Review and verify finished goods
To become a part of our team we require applicants for our Production Assistant to have the following qualifications:
SKILLS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven and motivated
- Organized, detail and results oriented
- Ability to prioritize and handle numerous issues simultaneously
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
EXPERIENCE
- Administrative experience in working with production, purchase order, billing and more
