Alliance Franchise Brands is seeking a Franchise Development Marketing Manager

PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the oversight, implementation, and execution of the Franchise Development lead generation, acquisition, and related departmental project efforts.  Establish and maintain key 3rd party vendor relationships who support department project efforts which include marketing, database management, and sales process support. Must passionately represent the company and be able to effectively communicate the needs of the department to both internal and external customers. 

This position will have three main functions, as further detailed below.  They are:

  • Development Marketing Management
  • Franchise Development Database Management
  • Acquisition Program Coordination

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Development Marketing Management

  • Lead liaison to 3rd party Franchise Development lead generation marketing vendor to include PR efforts
  • Oversee marketing campaigns to support Franchise Development team efforts attracting entrepreneurs in conjunction with 3rd party vendor efforts
  • Assist and oversee direct mail campaigns and gather financial information and profiles from independent printers and related businesses that are potential candidates for the AFB acquisition program and AFB Matchmaker Program and AFB Advantage Program. 

Franchise Development Database Management

  • Owner/Champion of the Franchise Development Database with responsibilities to ensure maintenance, accuracy, and security of the Database
  • Lead liaison on 3rd party database management efforts to include routine maintenance and preservation
  • Determine lead categorization (AFB acquisition program and AFB Matchmaker Program and AFB Advantage Program) and determine appropriate lead owner.

Acquisition Program Coordination

  • Work directly with Franchise Development and Mergers and Acquisitions Director.  Examples of support may include radius marketing campaigns to identify independents in a target market area. to include unique list pulls, scrubbing of data based on feedback, create/offer marketing efforts which parallel the needs to the direct efforts of development and regional director team members Maintain accurate records. Prepare reports as directed.
  • Maintain monthly and yearly lead generation and acquisition objectives with regular tracking and progress reports
  • Communications with Franchise Members to review acquisition list and to share best practices and acquisition process.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate to develop strategic support initiatives for department to achieve placement, resale, and acquisition goals
  • Attend annual conferences and kick-off meetings
  • Leadership meeting interface
  • Post and maintain Businesses for Sale Listings to build organic lead flow: Biz Buy Sell; Businessmart.com; Bizquest.com; Businessesforsale.com

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-7 years of operational, marketing, administrative experience.
  • Strong results-orientation and determination to meet and exceed targets. 
  • Highly polished/professional demeanor, positive attitude, and high energy level.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; a logical thinker who can work through complex business issues and contribute solution ideas
  • Ability to interact with other company department heads at a high level
  •  Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

 

Preferred

  • Franchise industry experience
  • Business to Business model experience
