Position Overview
Alliance RV is looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team. The responsibilities of this role are to evaluate and identify potential hazards within the workplace and functions within the department. The position will manage injury and accident prevention through educating employees on safe work practices to ensure continuous improvement. The Safety Coordinator has exposure to a high level of confidential information. Attention to detail is a vital aspect to the position as the position will deal with state and federal regulations. The role should be able to troubleshoot issues and assist in creating processes. The position is the first point of contact for employee inquiries and daily operations concerning safety.

Responsibilities
- Conduct formal and informal safety audits of the complex
- Educate employees about safe workplace practices
- Identifying potential workplace hazards and implementing corrective actions
- Conduct injury and accident investigations
- Responsible for compliance with OSHA regulations
- Completing required record-keeping and reporting for OSHA
- Inspecting equipment throughout the complex
- Answering inquiries from employees regarding policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit reports with confidential employment information
- Experience in the RV manufacturing beneficial, but not required
- A knowledge and understanding of state and federal OSHA regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Great attention to detail and able to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with aptitude in problem-solving
