The Hedging Intern Analyst position is a rewarding experience for undergraduates or those pursuing an advanced degree in a variety of technical fields.
During the program, Hedging Intern Analysts will work alongside our team of quants, portfolio managers, software developers, researchers, and traders to asses and mitigate the market risks for Allianz Life and other clients across the globe.

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.

What you do:
- Developing tools and analytics, back-testing strategies, and other various hedge analysis projects that add tangible value to the team.
- Intern Analysts will gain exposure to working on a dynamic hedge trading desk while expanding their technical skills, programming abilities, and knowledge of financial math.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
- Working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering or other related technical field.
- The right candidate will possess an outstanding record of academic achievement and an interest in the financial markets.
- Experience with C#, SQL or other programming languages and query languages is a plus.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
