The Medical Assistant under the direction of the Practice Administrator/Office Manager, and working with assigned Physicians,
- Provides assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
- Medical Assistant may travel between locations and requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.
- This position (must be certified in E Prescribe and) will administer injections per physician’s orders
- High School graduate or GED.
- Certified graduate of Medical Assistant Program and or certification in E-prescribing and/or medical office experience preferred
