As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and respond to various situations. What You'll Do:
- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch station, coordinating with on-site personnel and external agencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for an aerospace and defense environment.
- Document and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity to appropriate parties promptly and accurately.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and site-specific protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs of calls, incidents, and dispatch activity, ensuring information is recorded in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Support security-related operations by dispatching patrols and coordinating emergency response activities as directed.
- Assist in the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and policies, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
