Role Overview
Job Title: IT Systems Manager / Director (Title & compensation commensurate with experience)
Summary:
The IT Director is responsible for planning, developing, and managing all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. This individual will lead a team, oversee strategic initiatives, support business growth, and align technology solutions with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Champion companies' mission and values throughout all IT initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and support IT team members with clear goals and regular feedback.
Technology Strategy & Infrastructure
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and performance of servers, networks, and business applications.
- Ensure technology solutions align with evolving business strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
Project & Performance Management
- Plan and execute IT projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Prioritize help desk requests and ensure efficient support operations.
Compliance & Security
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, including PCI-DSS.
- Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Proactively identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work cross-functionally with all departments and partner organizations.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on IT-related decisions.
- Maintain clear documentation of IT systems, protocols, and policies.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions tailored to SRC’s needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior IT leadership role.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance.
- Proven success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Experience with:
- VMware, Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop OS, SQL
- Dell switches, Cisco routers
- Retail environments, POS systems, and payment terminals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, or special events.
