🧩 About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Procurement professional to support category management activities focused on semiconductor and electro-mechanical components. This role plays a key part in supplier coordination, pricing analysis, and data management to support cost reduction and supply-chain efficiency.
🔑 What You’ll Do
- Support category strategies for electronic components
- Perform pricing analysis and supplier data reviews
- Assist with supplier selection & onboarding
- Maintain vendor master data and system records
- Communicate with suppliers on pricing, lead times & performance
- Support internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality)
- Track and report procurement metrics
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (entry-level profiles considered)
- Strong data analysis & attention to detail
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Good communication and organizational skills
⭐ Nice to Have
- Exposure to semiconductor or electro-mechanical components
- Experience supporting global or multi-site sourcing
- Knowledge of cost analysis / TCO concepts
🕘 Work Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CST
- Hybrid (Chicago or Schaumburg – must be local)
- Interview Process: 1 virtual onsite round
- Citizenship Requirement: US Citizen
