In the first two years of your role as a GSI Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing, implementing, and supporting the SAP/GSI (CO/PS) migration in the Pittsburgh site. You will become a GSI key user, who will be the “go to” individual for system problem solving/process improvement. Following the migration, you will be performing direct and indirect cost analyses for our contracts. You will support operations in interpreting results and solving problems in order to meet objectives. You will participate in the month-end process to ensure the proper distribution of costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES YEAR 1-2:
- Support and train key users for GSI data mapping and migration;
- Correct post go live solution defects;
- Track issues, report incidents and work with support team to retrieve solutions;
- Act as the voice of end-users to propose changes in core model;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES POST GSI MIGRATION:
- Track, and monitor project EACs
- Investigate and report any potential risks, opportunities or cost recoveries within projects or the site
- Complete necessary invoicing to internal and/or external sites/companies;
- Assist cost center managers and unit heads in their operational decisions;
- Ensure the application of internal control procedures and Fi07 compliance;
PROFILE SOUGHT:
- Bachelor of Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
- Minimum two years of experience in accounting/finance or within a manufacturing business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Expertise in SAP CO, PS, PP & SD modules
- Experience in the manufacturing field is an asset
