POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The position of On-Call Event Host reports to the Director of Property Management and its Alutiiq subsidiaries staff.
- Responsible to iron tablecloths for events.
- Ensure renters and guests abide within the guidelines listed in the rental contract.
- Provide assistance to renters and guests regarding use of room technology.
- Make sure coffee & hot water is available to guests.
- Conduct hourly walk thru during an event and replenish toiletries, monitor trash, coffee, coffee add-ins and property perimeter checks for safety and overall quality satisfaction.
- Light janitorial work including taking out trashes & wiping countertops.
- Collect table linens & put them in the laundry bin.
Payrate:$18.00 to $25.00 hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to communicate with the public in a professional and courteous manner and handle difficult situations
- Must adhere to the Corporation's confidentiality policy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively
- Required High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
