POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

The position of On-Call Event Host reports to the Director of Property Management and its Alutiiq subsidiaries staff.

Responsible to iron tablecloths for events.
Ensure renters and guests abide within the guidelines listed in the rental contract.
Provide assistance to renters and guests regarding use of room technology.
Make sure coffee & hot water is available to guests.
Conduct hourly walk thru during an event and replenish toiletries, monitor trash, coffee, coffee add-ins and property perimeter checks for safety and overall quality satisfaction.
Light janitorial work including taking out trashes & wiping countertops.
Collect table linens & put them in the laundry bin.

Payrate: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ability to communicate with the public in a professional and courteous manner and handle difficult situations
Must adhere to the Corporation’s confidentiality policy
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively
Required High School Diploma or GED
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
