Floral Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Creation:

• Create floral arrangements for daily orders and events such as weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions.
• Select and arrange flowers, foliage, and other decorative elements to achieve desired aesthetics.
• Ensure that all arrangements are visually appealing and meet client specifications.

Client Interaction:

• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and requirements.
• Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the overall design.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality and visually appealing arrangements.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an organized inventory of floral supplies.
• Order, organize, and restock flowers and supplies as needed.
• Monitor and manage flower freshness and quality.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other designers and team members.
• Assist with on-site installation and setup of floral arrangements.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all floral arrangements meet the company’s quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning tools and containers.
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in floral design.

Event Coordination:

• Assist in planning and coordinating the floral aspects of events.
• Work closely with event planners and other vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during event setup and execution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role.
• Strong creative and artistic skills.
• Excellent understanding of color, texture, and design principles.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of floral care and handling techniques.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
