Position Title: Front Desk Supervisor
Shift: Flexible
Day(s) Required: Flexible
Rate of Pay: $21.00/hour
Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage and train front desk staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and transactions.
- Conduct night audits to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Utilize phone systems to handle incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and financial transactions is a plus.
- Proficiency in phone systems and phone etiquette.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand at the registration desk for long periods of time
- Able to walk floors as necessary to check rooms, visit guests, etc.
Anticipated Start Date: Two (2) weeks from date of job offer
