The Opportunity

Perspective Insurance is looking to hire an organized, conscientious, and enthusiastic receptionist to help direct our customers and answer incoming calls.

Count on to:

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail
• Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
• Process payments in person or over the phone
• Review the daily communication log and process it accordingly
• Process basic customer change requests
• Investigate customer payment issues
  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Strong customer service focus with a highly professional attitude and approach to business
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of agency management software and insurance rating software; proficient in Microsoft Suite office software; working knowledge of Applied EPIC.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must have the ability to maintain a cordial and professional relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Ability to interact with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency and producer.
