What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at Ambrosia Treatment Centers?
Neuroscience Institute is looking for a Clinical Mental Health Group Facilitator. The Group Facilitator will provide group therapy and collaborate with the Treatment Team in the providing of services to the patient population.
Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or health-related field.
Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year group facilitation experience
Responsibilities:
1. Actively participates in clinical team meetings.
2. Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from the patient.
3. Facilitates group therapy.
4. Documents group therapy session in each patients’ medical record.
5. Assists in crisis situations and provides the intervention necessary.
6. Documents any other interactions with patients, i.e clinical interventions.
7. Communicates effectively with the treatment team and patient population.
8. Adheres to all agency policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
9. Follows the Code of Ethics.
10. This role may require the facilitator to travel between sites to meet group needs.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
