For more than 40 years, we’ve empowered students to succeed in healthcare—and now we’re seeking a bold, collaborative Assistant Dean of Experiential Learning to lead simulation-based education within our School of Nursing.

This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise will directly shape how future nurses learn, practice, and enter the profession with confidence.

• Set the strategic direction for simulation and skills-based learning
• Lead the growth of cutting-edge simulation centers and labs
• Partner with academic leadership to align innovation with outcomes
• Elevate faculty development and instructional excellence
• Prepare students for real-world patient care—safely and compassionately

What You’ll Do

• Advance a forward-thinking vision for experiential learning and simulation
• Integrate emerging technologies and best practices into academic programs
• Provide operational leadership for simulation centers and skills labs
• Mentor simulation leaders, educators, and staff
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Use data and outcomes to drive quality and accreditation readiness
  
  

Required

What You Bring

• Active Utah RN license
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Passion for experiential learning and student success
  
  

Preferred

• Doctoral degree
• CHSE certification (or willingness to obtain)
• 5 years of simulation or experiential learning leadership
