Job Summary: American Digital Banking Manager is primarily responsible for setting and implementing digital strategy, driving digital innovation, expanding the Bank’s digital platforms, and maintaining the highest level in customer support. In collaboration with Senior Leadership, the Digital Banking Manager will identify opportunities for strategic shifts and business process transformations, aligning the bank’s strategies with innovative digital initiatives. This role will develop both short and long-term roadmaps to aligned with the Branch Management Teams, driving growth by transitioning traditional business operations into digital first solutions. The manager will assess and recommend appropriate fee structures to optimize revenue generation.

Primary Responsibilities:
Digital Banking Manager
- Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally to support the servicing of the Online Banking and Cash Management products.
- Work with Jack Henry core system to address and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of system admin settings for digital banking platforms, including NetTeller, Banno, Geezeo, RSA Outseer, ProfitStars, iTalk, iPay, Alkami, and others.
- Has the day-to-day oversight and responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory laws as they relate to functions within Online Banking Operations such as ACH Processing, Wire Transfers (both foreign and domestic), Reg E and Reg DD.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of posting and exception deposit items.
- Review maintenance reports and notify necessary responsible parties as needed.
- Coordinate platform enhancements for NetTeller, Banno, Geezeo, RSA Outseer, ProfitStars, iTalk, iPay and other platforms to improve customer accessibility/experience.
- Responsible for recommending, planning, implementation and control of activities designed to achieve long-range objectives, including product development, regulatory compliance, and training of branch staff.
- Work with other departments on strategic objectives, project management and process enhancements.
- Review update policies and procedures affecting online banking and retail customers to maintain efficient and effective service delivery mitigate operational risks.
- Mentor and coach retail bankers and operations staff on digital banking products/platforms. Develop staff to ensure they have the training required to assist customers with the primary aspects of digital banking.
- Act as liaison to Senior Management, Retail, Operations, Internal Auditor, and Compliance Officer for online banking operations, audit, and compliance issues.
- Satisfactorily completes all required bank training.
- Other duties as designated by management.
Competencies:

Education and Experience:
- Required
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Combination of 7-10 years banking experience in both retail and operations.
- Preferred
- Previous experience with Jack Henry core solutions and related products including Xperience, Synergy, Banno, NetTeller, iPay and ProfitStars.
- 3-5 years supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Accredited ACH Professional and Certified Treasury Professional certifications.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No Direct Reports at this time, potential for direct reports dependent on future growth of Digital Channels.
Working Conditions:
- Work environment is indoors in a clean atmosphere with normal noise levels.
- Ability to work under time constraints and pressure is required.
- Exposed to a potentially hazardous condition – robbery. Receives detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize the risk.
- Normal hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM and as needed to complete responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Critical sensory abilities are seeing, hearing/listening, touching, and speaking.
- Physical dexterity requirements include operating general office equipment such as telephone, computer, calculator, photocopier, and postage machine. Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Mental effort requirements include reading, writing, basic arithmetic, mathematics, visualizing conclusions, analyzing data, searching for solutions, creating methodologies, conducting research, and managing resources.
- Physical requirements include standing for long periods when providing customer service, sitting, walking and must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. waist high and 20 lbs. shoulder high.
Travel Requirements:
- I understand that even though my primary work assignment will be in my main branch; I agree to go to any other location requested by management. I understand that such temporary re-assignment will require the use of my personal vehicle. If I am requested to spend the entire day at a non-primary location, American Bank will pay for my time spent traveling which is inclusive from the time I leave my home to the time I return to my home. In addition, any time that I use my personal vehicle in such travel, I understand that American Bank will reimburse my mileage at the current designated IRS mileage reimbursement rate.
Pay Grade: 13
