Salary: $56868 - $93924 per year
Ideal Candidate
- Software Proficiency: Prior experience using JD Edwards, Bottomline, Hubble, Infinium, or ASI software.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in utilizing computer spreadsheets and word processing software, including Excel, Word, and other applications essential for analysis and special projects.
- Education and Certification: Possess a graduate degree or professional certification.
- Leadership: Demonstrates fundamental management skills.
- Utilize software expertise to control, analyze, and validate financial data, aiding management decisions and ensuring system integrity.
- Write queries, programs, and audits to maintain system accuracy and produce reports for decision-making.
- Perform duties in compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and FASB. Compute and file monthly tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance cost accounting processes.
- Analyze sales data and profit margins, providing insights to supervision and specific analysis for customers, products, or projects.
- Lead or participate in information systems projects, coordinating efforts and training users. Manage accounting staff and areas such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Handle diverse tasks, adjusting priorities to meet financial closing schedules and improve efficiency through proactive procedure development.
- Analyze and resolve invoicing discrepancies with customers, and managing vendor communications.
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university. Proof of degree required.
- Must exhibit the ability to assume responsibility for an assigned area of accounting work and be able to supervise and assist clerical personnel in daily or monthly tasks.
- Must exhibit the ability to help formulate systems and procedures to be used in cost accounting and be able to communicate this to others.
- Must exhibit a working knowledge of software, such as Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Must be able to work overtime on weekdays and/or weekends as required to fulfill job duties.
