This role primarily operates in a professional office environment, with occasional participation in recruitment events or career fairs. Standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers, will be routinely used.

- Assist in posting job openings across internal and external job boards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Screen resumes and assist in identifying potential candidates based on hiring needs.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates regarding their application status, interview details, and next steps.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing support throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate data tracking.
- Compile and update tracking recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate engagement, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Support background check and reference check processes as needed.
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Help streamline recruitment workflows and identify areas for process improvement.
- Assist in organizing career fairs, networking events, and university recruiting initiatives to attract talent.
- Support employer branding efforts by helping create social media content and job marketing materials.
- Engage with prospective candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, and email campaigns to build awareness of AET career opportunities.
- Provide administrative assistance for talent acquisition projects, reports, and hiring initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR team members to support additional HR functions as needed.
- Perform other HR related duties as assigned.
- Current enrollment in a related Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, and social media recruiting is a plus.
- Experience with HR database and HRIS systems a plus.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HRIS software is a plus.
