What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at American Hardwood Industries?
Augusta Surfaces, a division of American Hardwood Industries, is hiring for a 2nd shift Machine Operator at our Waynesboro Butcher Block operation. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
Machine Operator Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay $18-$22/hour - work 36 hours and paid for 40!
- 2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 1am
- Overtime Hours & Pay
- Full Plan of Benefits including health, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD, 401k, paid vacation and paid holidays!
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Must be wiling to train on day shift - 6am - 4:30pm
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
Machine Operator Education & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work overtime
