Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time and/or a part time Limited X-Ray Technician and Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine taking X-Rays and performing Medical Assisting duties, administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running. You will be preparing for each patient visit by taking vitals, entering patient's information into EMR/EHR, providing routine support alongside medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ability and Expertise to take X-Rays and perform Medical Assisting duties
  • Ability to obtain vital signs , skillfully administer injections to patients such as vaccines, flu shots and TB
  • Ability to skillfully perform blood drawing
  • Ability to assist in minor surgeries and procedures
  • Skills to perform EKG
  • Ability to remove ear wax
  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner and answering phone calls and greeting patients
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Escort patients to exam rooms
  • Ability to be flexible in working both back and front office to facilitate smooth work and patient flow
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records
  • Prepare for the patient visit
  • Assist doctors with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results and handle basic medical office duties


Qualifications

  • Licensed to be a Limited X-Ray Technician and Medical Assistant
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient's families and co-workers in a courteous and compassionate manner
  • Previous experience in healthcare, taking X-Rays and Performing Medical Assisting duties
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
