Facilities Technician - Second Shift - Amherst Middle School and Wilkins

Please apply online at sau39.org Custodian needed to work full-time year-round. - Perform routine building maintenance and repairs as scheduled by the head custodian, including all custodial duties.  - Follow written work schedule and complete Cleaning Checklist.  - Operate assorted power machines, such as but not limited to, scrubbing/buffing machines, wet/dry vacuums, rug shampoo machines, etc.  - Perform various tasks requested by head custodian, principal, and school personnel.  Fulfill requests specified on work orders.   - Responsible for checking all exits, windows and doors to see that they are properly closed and locked.  Secure building and set alarm.  - Empty trash into dumpsters and recyclables into designated containers each day.   - Climb heights to perform required duties  - Sweep, dry mop or wet mop floors and stairs and vacuum carpeted areas daily to remove dust, dirt, paper, etc.   - Help with snow removal when needed. - Available for additional work and/or overtime as required. - Perform other tasks as assigned. Please note:  This facilities position is full-time, year round and works 8 hours per day (night shift) during the school year and works a day schedule during school breaks and summer.
