Summary
Amundsen Davis, a full-service business law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our legal team and provide comprehensive support across a diverse caseload of matters. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paralegal with a background in corporate, real estate, and/or estate planning law to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as corporate formation documents, sale agreements, estate planning documents, easements, real estate deeds, leases, purchase agreements, supply contracts, etc.
- File corporate organization, amendments, and annual reports with State of Wisconsin.
- File and record real estate documents and security documents.
- Compile and assist in drafting estate planning documents for signature.
- Support attorneys with case management from inception through resolution, including maintaining organized case files and managing calendars.
- Maintain both electronic and physical client files with precision and confidentiality.
Required Competencies, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate, real estate or estate planning paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong foundation in corporate, real estate, or estate planning law.
- Advanced proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting.
- Deep knowledge of Wisconsin corporate procedures and real estate and corporate filing systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills—able to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across teams.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
- This position requires regular and predictable in-office attendance.
