The candidate will be part of a multifunctional group that defines, develops and delivers innovative device and process solutions to enable and enhance technology platforms needed for ADI’s products. The person should have a deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and be comfortable in contributing to a broad range of technologies. Some examples are silicon BCD process, power discretes, GaN or SiC. The person should have experience in device development taking technologies from conception to production.

Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
- Understand technology roadmap needs and propose innovative device and process solutions
- Run TCAD simulations to define process details and device design
- Design and layout devices using automated techniques for rapid prototyping of new ideas
- Work with process integration team to define process DOE splits in the fab
- Setup test measurements in lab and collect automated data as needed
- Define optimum process and device layouts for best performance, reliability and manufacturability
- Work with EDA and design engineers to support CAD tool development and product design
- Support technology qualification and implementation of new products
- Support production ramp up of new technologies and products
- Mentor junior engineers in the group
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering, material science or similar discipline
- 10 years of technical work experience in relevant field
- Deep expertise in Synopsys TCAD, Cadence layout, lab measurement and data analysis tools
- Good communicator and team player

- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

Salary : $131,250 - $196,875
