We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Developer with a strong background in semantic technologies to lead the development and support of semantic web applications and knowledge-based systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience working with RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and knowledge graphs, and will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of semantic data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of semantic web applications.
- Architect and manage ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs.
- Develop and optimize SPARQL queries and RDF data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate semantic technologies into enterprise systems.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the semantic web community.
- Ensure adherence to Linked Data and FAIR data principles.
- Maintain documentation and provide training and support to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience with semantic technologies including RDF, OWL, and SPARQL.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with tools like Apache Jena, Protégé, GraphDB, or Virtuoso.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and knowledge representation.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading development teams or projects.
- Knowledge of SHACL, SKOS, or JSON-LD.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Background in data science, machine learning, or natural language processing.

Pay: $115,294.57 - $138,849.38 per year
