We are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong focus on Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting within the context of Semantic Technologies. This role involves leveraging semantic data models, ontologies, and knowledge graphs to deliver meaningful insights and reports that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop BI dashboards and reports using semantic data sources (RDF, SPARQL endpoints).
- Translate complex semantic data into actionable business insights.
- Collaborate with ontology engineers and data architects to align reporting structures with semantic models.
- Develop SPARQL queries to extract and transform data from knowledge graphs.
- Support data governance and metadata management using semantic standards.
- Document data models, reporting logic, and semantic mappings for stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to business users on semantic-enabled reporting tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) with semantic data integration.
- Experience with RDF, OWL, and SPARQL.
- Understanding of ontologies and knowledge graph concepts.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SHACL, SKOS, or JSON-LD.
- Knowledge of linked data principles and FAIR data practices.
- Background in semantic web technologies or enterprise knowledge graphs.
- Familiarity with open-source semantic tools (e.g., Apache Jena, GraphDB).
