Renewal by Andersen is looking for driven, money motivated, and ambitious professionals with background in sales, marketing, communications, customer service (hospitality, retail, restaurant, etc.). who enjoy the challenge and freedom of door-to-door residential sales to help perfect our customer’s experience in upgrading their homes. This position earns commission in addition to base pay. You will be paid an hourly wage of $17 per hour, but the real reward comes from your incentive payments. Our current employees make up to $26/hr (Make up to $30 /hr). This team works Tuesday - Saturday around the hours of 2pm - 7pm but the specific start and end time of your day would vary based on the time of year and area you’re working in. There are breaks throughout the day as well as a 1-hour lunch break.  Base pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

Expected Hours: 15-32 hours per week. 5 hour shifts Tuesday - Saturday with weekends as needed.

PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for engaging in generating highly qualified leads by engaging in door-to-door canvassing. While doing so it is the responsibility of the canvasser to record accurate data regarding the information of prospective customers, and the targeted market area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o The Residential Marketing Specialist is a part of our Direct Marketing Department and is responsible for making great first impressions with homeowners, providing information and knowledge, and generating appointments to provide homeowners with pricing and information on their future window and door projects.

o We visit with homeowners in targeted neighborhoods in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area, in person, to develop trust, credibility, and rapport.

o We provide an opportunity for homeowners to receive a no cost, in-home consultation from our best in the nation Design Consultant team, who will provide guaranteed pricing for a full year.

o Experience in sales/marketing/customer service is a plus, but what's more valuable are candidates who have outgoing and likeable personalities, who can start conversations with anyone and who want to take control of their earnings.

o Utilize Renewal by Andersen mapping program, and business applications, to accurately keep records on house-to-house information and data tracking

o Be courteous, neat, clean and in proper uniform with required municipality permitting at all times

o   Communicate with Canvassing Program Manager ideas that can improve effectiveness of the canvassing program policies of Renewal by Andersen

o   Master Renewal by Andersen methodology, product, and current promotional offerings. Become a Signature Service expert

QUALIFICATIONS:

o  1 year of Customer Service or Door-to-Door experience required

o   Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record

o   Reliable transportation to navigate to and from work

o   Strong verbal communication skills

o   Goal-oriented and self-motivated and able to navigate through multiple platforms on tablets

o   Physically able to stand and walk 3 to 5 miles a day
