Anderson Communities is excited to expand our maintenance division with the addition of a new Dispatch Coordinator for the Exterior Services department. Anderson Communities encompasses a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This position is responsible for all internal and external communication and scheduling as it relates to exterior services. You will act as the "front line" point of contact, coordinating internal and external resources, while maintaining excellent customer service. We need your excellent organizational and communication skills to delegate priorities in a calm and helpful manner.
About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of landscaping and grounds maintenance services within the organization. You will be responsible for coordinating daily schedules, managing resources, and communicating effectively with team members to ensure timely service delivery. You will also monitor the progress of ongoing projects and address any issues that may arise, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. By optimizing routes and schedules, this role directly contributes to the overall productivity and satisfaction of both residents and staff. Ultimately, this position is key to maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the grounds under their care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of proven experience in a dispatch or coordinator role, preferably in the landscaping or facilities management industry
- Proven ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
- Ability to prioritize emergencies, execute directions accurately
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn and utilize all company software
- Ability to meet physical requirement of this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience with scheduling software or dispatch systems.
- Knowledge of landscaping practices and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily dispatch of grounds maintenance teams and equipment based on project requirements and priorities.
- Communicate with team members to provide updates on schedules, changes, and any issues that may arise during operations.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, work completed, equipment used, and any incidents that occur during operations
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
