What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Staff position at Angel Island Fun Park?
Do you love fun and exciting environments? Do you enjoy working with kids? At Angel Island Fun Park we provide clean and safe environments for kids to have fun! As an employee we would expect you to be able to maintain customer satisfaction and keep the facility clean. You would be the first face our customers will see and you will check them in, so a smiling face is of utmost importance! You will monitor the kids as well as the play area to ensure saftey and rule following.
Duties and Responsibilities :
This person will be involved in a wide spectrum of tasks including customer service and data entry
Welcome customers upon arrival, answers questions and concerns
Responsible for registering new customers
Must be able to handle money and work a computer
Providing a pleasant experience: Team members are expected to always treat park guests with respect and to exhibit exceptional customer service to help all guests have a pleasant, positive experience
Maintaining a clean environment: Team members are responsible for maintaining a clean park environment by completing assigned daily and weekly janitorial duties
Insure all party rooms are set up, maintained during party and cleaned for next party
Responding to all injuries/incidents: All employees should respond quickly after an accident has occurred
Employees should always involve the manager on duty who will have basic training in first-aid procedures so that they can clean small open wounds, apply bandages, and provide ice
Staff duty delegation: Although shift leads are responsible for running the park when managers are not present, all employees should help do their part
Inventory management: Socks, cleaning supplies, and party supplies should be accounted for weekly to ensure that stock levels are adequate for the expected park traffic
Conflict resolution: When a customer is upset for any reason, staff members should immediately ask for a shift lead to get involved
Shift leads should interact with upset customers appropriately to resolve any issues onsite If a problem cannot be resolved onsite, shift leads can then provide customers with non-personal contact information to reach store managers
You will be given different tasks to ensure efficiency and smooth operation
These tasks are prioritized based on the company’s main pillars
The importance of safety and customer service at all times
Opening/closing the park: Once trained, all employees may help or be in charge of opening/closing periods
All employees will ensure that the park is ready for operation by checking cleanliness, equipment operation, cash levels, and daily staff assignments
Qualifications:
Must have excellent customerservice skills
Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
Must have a team mentality, flexibility and willingness to learn
The ability to communicate effectively, multi-task and work under pressure is the key to success in this position, which also requires attention to detail and a commitment to achieving consistent customer satisfaction.
Schedule :
Weekdays: are able to take afternoon shift (around 2-6:30 pm)
can work on weekends.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
