Revenue Cycle Specialist 

We are MedHealth Partners, the largest fixed-wing air ambulance in the U.S. for patients in need of vital medical transportation. We fly jets that are equipped as “flying ICUs” to safely transport patients throughout the country, generally from one hospital to another.

What You Will Do:

MedHealth Partners is looking for revenue cycle management specialists to assist in all aspects of our medical billing processes. The primary purpose of the Revenue Cycle Specialist position is to track insurance claims, collect supporting documentation, and secure insurance proceeds. The Specialist will also resolve untimely claims via root cause analysis (RCA) and correspondence with key stakeholders to ensure maximum reimbursement to the Company. The Specialist acts as a focal point within the Company for all revenue cycle activities.

What We Need from You:

Prior medical and revenue cycle experience (medical billing, insurance collections). You need to be a resourceful, critical thinker that is open to learning about healthcare coverage and medical billing. You will spend significant time on the phone talking with insurance company representatives to help our patients receive coverage for their medical flight.

Specific skills we are looking for include:

  • Preferred 2 years experience in revenue cycle manamgmnet
  • Strong organizational and oral/written communications skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage others over the phone.
  • Ability to spend significant time on the phone and a willingness to multi-task during long hold times.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Work, Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail orientation with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively.
