What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian position at Animal Doctor?
We would like to add a full-time veterinarian to our growing team. We have three busy practices: Animal Doctor Westside and Animal Doctor Blue Hills in Manhattan, KS and Animal Doctor in Junction City, KS.
Animal Doctor is a full-service animal hospital that provides high quality, individualized veterinary care for companion animals. We provide routine medical, surgical, and dental care in a compassionate, and friendly atmosphere. Our experienced staff prioritizes client communication and education.
Our facilities are equipped with: Ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, cold therapy laser, surgical laser, modern surgical room, in house lab with CBC, blood chemistry and UA integrated to EMR, computers in all rooms, electronic medial records Impromed, etc.
Duties would include, but not be limited to, general surgery, internal medicine, case management, preventative pet care, communication with clients, management of support staff, and rotating on call duties.
The work schedule is four weekdays (one fixed day off per week likely to be Tuesday but negotiable) and rotating Saturdays. Typically, 2 Saturdays per month.
In addition to salary, we provide a $600 per month car and phone allowance.
