We are an AAHA accredited General Practice that provides excellent services for our loyal patients. Looking to increase our team to provide support for our 3-doctor team. What You’ll Do The Veterinary Technician Supervisor role will allow you to take the skills and experience you’ve gained over the years in this profession and put them to great use in our hospital. Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine. Must be proficient in the skills listed below. Willing to train the right team member for the supervisory role. This is a working supervisory position responsible for the leadership and development of the patient care team. Technical skills that you will be utilizing include: Physical examinations and patient assessment Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Dentistry Radiology Laboratory work Venipuncture Catheter placement Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals Supervisory duties will include supporting the hospital manager in: Team training, development and support Implementing department policies and procedure Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs Record keeping Marketing Facility maintenance As Technician Supervisor, you will be committed to maintaining a healthy work environment where all employees are elevated, empowered and enjoy what we do.
