Animal House Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Client Care Representative to join our team! Animal House Veterinary Clinic is a unique AAHA Accredited practice where all team members follow Fear Free guidelines and strive to treat our dog, cat, and goat patients as if they were part of our family. Animal House team members are some of the most caring and compassionate people you will ever meet. Each and every team member, from the Veterinarians to the Technicians to the Customer Service Representatives, all truly care about animals as they have dedicated their lives to animal health. Position Overview: As a Client Care Representative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations with Animal House Veterinary Clinic. By adding value to an efficient organization dedicated to quality care and extraordinary service, you will perform a variety of clerical and customer service tasks in providing support to the hospital. We are looking for a friendly, team-oriented person, with excellent customer service skills! 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
  • Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Check patients in the hospital according to the schedule and prepare patient files
  • Record and obtain medical records
  • Keep lobby and reception areas organized and neat
  • Obtain deposits and other payments from clients
  • Process credit applications
  • Utilize email systems

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • At least 1 year of experience performing above duties
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Knowledge of veterinary procedures, terminology, and products
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize and connect with clients
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for appointment scheduling and record-keeping
  • Able to perform moderately physically demanding work, that requires lifting (up to 50 pounds), cleaning, and constant motion
  • Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, zoonotic diseases, and unpleasant odors

Available Schedule: Full-time position

  • We are open: Mondays & Thursdays 8am-7pm
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 8am-5:30pm
  • Saturdays 9am-1pm
  • Closed Sundays
